Worth every penny of the $500 air fare

I recently went to Tucson to visit my cousin, her husband and their 4 yo son Zach. Zach is also my godson so that made the visit extra special. We went to Mt. Lemon and hanged out at home for the most part. It was indeed a very nice visit. Beside being with family for Christmas, I get to play a lot with my godson which was what I needed for the Holidays. Indeed the visit was worth every penny of the $500 I paid for the air fare.

Tucson

Iconic Tucson scenery.
The following pictures were from Mt. Lemon, which is 1 hour away from Tucson. The mountain was beautiful. Even more than Derbyshire county.

Spiderman - the musical

I just read in Instinct Magazine that the gay people are excited about Spider-Man: The musical. I can see why. But I am excited more to see how they will pull off the swinging from building to building and wall clinging aspects. For more information, read these articles I found online.

PS. I wonder how many will show up to the Musical wearing their spidey costumes from Halloween?

All about Gifts.

One challenge we face during Christmas is figuring out what to give our family and loved ones. I consider myself a difficult person to be please when it comes to the gift I received. The reason being is if I want something, I go buy it myself. So I end up not wanting anything that somebody can give me in many instances. Lately, I have given my friends and family a list of things I want or need. That way I can truly enjoy the gift.

Here is my list of gifts I want to get or got that pleased me.
- Toiletries like toothpaste/soap/shampoo etc... I am practical and I know I will end up using those.
- Designer underwear. Again, the practicality of it is good.
- Gift card. That way I get what I want or need.
- Gay Porn. What can I say... I like watching them. lol
- Accessories like Scarves/watch/necklace/umbrella. One size fits all. That is good.
- Picture in a frame of loved ones.
- Massages or facials. hhhmmm nice.
- Clothes. Only when the giver knows my style and size.
- Office supplies like CD-R/DVD-R/photo album/batteries. I always need them.
- Companionship to activities I want to do . Companionship to places I want to go to. Not what the giver wants. The gift part is obliging what I want.

Here is my list of gift I don't want to get or got that did not pleased me.
- Houseplants. Just no space to put them
- Ground coffee. Don't drink coffee.
- Cologne. Can I say hay fever sneezing?
- Alcohol. I don't drink much. It's just annoying.

Jon's Sarcasm 6

- What would be poetic and beautiful is for those terrorist and crusaders who justified their killing in the name of God to realize too late that God after all did not want those murders.
- I am out of patience and I am not really looking to buy some disappointments.
- Just when you think someone is beneath you, there is always others out there who think that way of you.
- Meeting someone in person after chatting online for a while is like watching a movie after reading the book. Somehow, it tends to not live up to your imagination.
- One thing good about this bad economy, there will be less Hummer in the street.

How they relate to the Ex.

When you are single as I am for the most part of your adult life and you get to date "new" guys often, you develop a preference as to how you want them to relate to their exes. I have gone out with guys that absolutely hate their ex. The break up was very bad. And there is the other end of the spectrum where they are best buddies with their ex. They do things together all the time. It is like they are still dating but without the sex. Now which one would I rather date? In an ideal world, I would prefer to date somebody who does not hate their ex but does not keep in touch with each either. If they encounter their ex, they can be cordial and exchange pleasantries but does not seek out each other's company as "friends". For me, ex are like baggages you don't want to bring in the new relationship. Dating somebody who is too attached to their ex even if it is just platonic can be a sticky issue. You never know if he is actually over the ex or if you are just the consolation prize since he can't have the ex anymore. You want them to have completely moved on. On the otherhand, if their blood boils by the mere mention of the ex can be a turn off too. Will they feel the same about you when you break up? Is this a guy who can't learn to forgive and move on? Could it be that they really still have feelings for their ex that is expressed as anger and hatred for a betrayal done to them? Afterall, indifference to somebody means the absence of any feelings be it love or anger.
