Brilliant music video. It is really nonsensical but the way they made it and the song arrangement made it look like a serious music video.  It is funny and wildly entertaining.

I did not realize that the song Call Me Maybe is popular with the military guys.  Kinda funny that they choose to lip synch a song sang by a girl but it is cool in my book.  It does not diminish the humor of the video.

The Irreverent songs of Avenue Q

I saw Avenue Q while I was in NYC. It was one of those show that everybody raves about that I have not seen. So since it was half price at TKTS, I got myself a ticket. Now I can see why people raved about it. It is funny and irreverent. The topic they talk and sing about are often not mentioned in polite society but here they explore it through humor. It was refreshing to hear them sing about things like pornography, homosexuality and racism. I love it. Here are some sample of songs they sing about. Enjoy!

FOB english.

I am such a snob sometimes against people who has bad english. I saw this post at Craigslist about an Asian guy looking to hook up. It is so obvious that this Asian guy does not have mastery of English. Most likely he is an FOB (fresh off the boat). It is that or he could be one of those Asian in chinatown who never mastered english cause everybody else around them spoke chinese. Who knows? Regardless of what his story is, the post is still funny to read.

I saw these bit online and I wanted to share it with you. It has something to do with what physical characteristics people write about who they want to meet.

Most people say they want somebody with a swimmer's built but "shamu" the killer whale has a swimmer's built too. People ask for somebody who is athletic but bowler's are athletes too. They want somebody who is height and weight proportion and so are mountains. And lastly, most gay men do not want somebody who is feminine. Well Bea Arthur was not feminine...

Guess the moral of the story, you have to be more specific with what you want.
