Trump caught lying

I do not like Trump for many reasons.  But one of the major reason is because he is a big fat liar.  Here is a video clip from Jimmy Kimmel show proving my point.  Trump caught contradicting himself and lying about his relationship with Vladimir Putin. I personally feel Trump is Putin's bitch.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

I have always been curious about this Aerial Tramway since I learned about it.  So we finally decided to go and visit.  There is a Valley station at the foot of the mountain where we bought our tickets and waited for our turn to ride the tramway.  And as a side note, may I suggest buying the tickets ahead of time online since it gets pretty busy on weekends.  The wait could be as long as 3-4 hours.  But let me say the wait is still worth it because the view is spectacular.  The Tramway floor rotates giving riders a 360 degree view of the mountain and the valley including Palm Springs itself.  The ride took about 10 minutes and we arrived on top to the Mountain Station.  There are several restaurants, theaters and some vistas with the awesome view of the the valley and the picturesque mountain top.  People do all sort of stuffs up the mountain.  People go snow sledding, snow shoeing, snow fighting and cross country skiing.  I assume hiking and picnicking during the none winter season.  Our ride down the Tramway was equally as spectacular since it was night time and we got to see the lights of Palm Springs.   It was really a nice experience.  I highly recommend it for Angelenos considering that Palm Springs is just a 2 hour drive from LA.

Palm Springs Moorten Botanical Garden

We had some free time to kill while at Palm Springs so we decided to visit the Moorten Botanical Garden.  This garden is coined as "The Desert Garden for all Seasons".   Upon arriving, we paid the $5 self guided tour fee which is nothing more than a photo copied white paper with the map of the garden.  The garden itself was small and run down.  The plants are mostly cacti which is not a bad thing but they do not look healthy.  There was a cactarium too with plants inside and it looks just as run down as the rest of the garden.  On the other end of the garden was a Mediterranean style home called the Cactus Castle.  It was not open to the public so I could not tell if it was nice inside.  There was also mini Zoo with some animals along with some potted cacti for sale.

If this garden was free, I would say yeah it can be interesting to visit and kill some time.  But with the $5 fee, it was not worth it.  So visit at your own risk.
