Chicago 2016 no more...

When Chicago lost the 2016 bid for the summer Olympics, I must admit I was sorely disappointed. My attachment for Chicago as my home is stronger than I previously thought otherwise this lost would not have affected me this much. Now we can only speculate why Chicago was not chosen. Was it the relatively low public support compared to the other cities? Was it because the USA have hosted the Olympic many times before that the Olympic Committee thought it best to have it in South America? Why why why? It is a moot point now. Let us just hope Brazil will live up to the demands and expectations of hosting an Olympic. Brazil better start building more hotels and start cleaning up the crimes. They got 7 years for it.
