Janet is dahak dahak
My kin called Janet "dahak dahak" tonight. I laughed because the description was very accurate. Dahak dahak means a glutton. The dictionary defines a glutton as one given habitually to greedy and voracious eating and drinking. And my dog Janet is a glutton. She is motivated primarily by food. Now do not tell me that all dogs are like that because our other dog Chewy is not like that at all. Chewy often would have left over from her bowl. She would not approach every person that offers her food. Chewy would even occasionally refuse to eat tasty people food. But everything on Janet's mind is about food. When she is brought out in the yard to relieve herself, she would be going first to check on Chewy's bowl to see if there are left over food there. Then she would forage on the grass/dirt for any food that Chewy might have refused to finish eating. She would end up eating so much dirt that it already gave her constipation and bleeding anus from defecating those pebbles and dirt. When I walk her, she would also be busy sniffing for anything to eat. She only consistently obey command to sit and stay if there is treats involved. When she hears a container being opened or utensils clucking or people eating/chewing, she would be running towards that sound in anticipation that there is food to be had. She would eating 99% of thing offered to her. She in fact have vomited a few of these items because it obviously did not agree with her GI. She is already overweight from me indulging her begging habit. If I do not control her eating, she would be a morbidly obese dog.
