Pet peeve - claiming gym machines

Some guys in the gym thinks they still have claim on a particular machines after leaving it. They may have just left it briefly for the water fountain, other machines or to chat with their friends but the fact that they left the machine, it should be free for anybody to use. They would still have the audacity to come back and tell you that they were using it and expect you to give it up for them. What jerks.
