Clay Aiken of American Idol season 1 recently came out as a gay man. This brings me to beg the question, why bother? It is not as if the anybody with wit did not know already that he is gay. It is not as if this move will gain more approval and support from the gay community. He has vehemently denied being gay for years that I personally don't care that he came out.
