Around this time last year, I felt almost exactly the same about the Australian Open as I do now. That feeling is joy and contentment. Serena and Venus defended their Women's Doubles title. Bob and Mike Bryan defended their Men's Doubles title. Serena also defended her Women's Single title against Justine. And for the Men's Single title, Roger recaptured the crown this year by beating Andy Murray. I did not care much about the Men's Singles result. I may have wanted a little for Andy Murray to win but Roger getting it was not a huge disappointment. Congratulations Serena, Venus, Bob and Mike. And thank you for putting a smile in my face this weekend.
